An IWT focused conference was organised Bydgoszcz, Poland as part of the efforts to overall knowledge and experiance sharing generated by pilot projects and the results of the work packages.

The overall objective of the conference was to improve the adoption potential by application of a knowledge sharing activity that brings together:

• discuss/ demonstrate identified options in a sequence along the inland navigation
• create a better understanding for each group of identified methods used at each level
• show the correlations between the different events
• create a platform for the exchange of related questions, challenges on the adoption potential of the identified option with all groups involved
• monitor and evaluate the benefits of knowledge sharing activities into projects

The successfull two day conference "Development of inland navigation as an opportunity for industry" was organised on 20th - 21st February 2019 and gained alot of interest.
