Since 2019, numerous partner organisations around the Baltic Sea Region have co-operated in COMBINE and EMMA Extension projects to strengthen combined transport and inland navigation in the Baltic Sea Region. Now we are proud to share with you what we have achieved together during these years:
We cordially invite you to join our final conference BALTIC SEA REGION – FUTURE FORERUNNER IN SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORTS which will be organized virtually on Monday, the 21st of June 2021 at 9.30-13.00 CEST.
Join us and our expert panellists online to hear more about the results of COMBINE and EMMA Extension projects in strengthening combined transport and enhancing inland navigation in the Baltic Sea Region – and of course how to develop sustainable transports further in the Baltic Sea Region.
The keynote speech will be followed by two panel discussions. Among the speakers, panellists and conference participants, we have invited our stakeholders from the European Commission, European organisations, transport ministries, national and regional administrations as well as representatives of logistics and industry.
The COMBINE project aims at strengthening combined transport in the Baltic Sea Region and increasing knowledge of this sustainable mode of transport. The project is led by Port of Hamburg Marketing and implemented together with 14 partners from Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden.
The EMMA Extension Project aims to enhance inland navigation in the Baltic Sea Region by supporting digitalization in inland waterway transport and by implementing new logistic concepts in the BSR. The project is led by Port of Hamburg Marketing and is implemented together with 7 partners from Germany, Finland, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden.
Both projects are funded by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme and have been approved as Flagship projects of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region under its Policy Area Transport.
